It’s that time of the year, where, according to tradition and folklore, the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead are at their thinnest – and Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire have plenty of events planned to make this 31st October go with a bang.

The Claregate pub will be staging a children’s and adults disco – fancy dress optional but encouraged, with free buffet food during the evening.

The Combermere Arms will have live music from The Toads during the evening – who always play an excellent Halloween set – last year was a brilliant evening and this year promises to be something similar. Free entry as always.

Hogshead has a Halloween party – free entry – from 8pm, with drinks offers and music from celebrated local DJ, Niel Jackson. Costume positively encouraged!

The Wheatsheaf has live music on Saturday evening from White Room, is promoting a collectors card towards a special Hobgoblin Halloween glass and is giving away free shots.

Codsall Legionnaires Club is hosting a children’s party from 2pm onwards and a Halloween karaoke from 8:30pm, with a free shot of Sourz to all in fancy dress.

The Royal London has a ‘Pick n Mix Halloween night’ with giveaways and prizes for the best fancy dress – free entry.

The Posada isn’t having a Halloween specific party – but they will have the excellent Salopian ales, ‘Shropshire Gold’ and ‘Lemon Dream’ on tap..

And lets not forget The Giffard Arms and Planet nightclub in Wolverhampton – prime Halloween party locations that will be full of revellers in fancy dress!
