Sally’s Sweet Oasis – three years and going strong

Sally’s Sweet Oasis, the traditional sweet shop on Lower Street in Tettenhall, has today celebrated its third birthday. The former Post Office and convenience store was transformed in the summer of 2012 and was an instant hit with locals who are proving to be eager regulars to this day – testament to the consistency of the sweet shop in sourcing and providing quality goods.

Sally’s Sweet Oasis celebrates its third birthday

Sally’s Sweet Oasis is the brainchild of Sallyann Eccleston, who opened her original sweet shop at Garden Village on the Bridgnorth Road in March 2011. It wasn’t long before she expanded to the current, popular, Lower Street store.

Sally’s caters for a large audience, with both modern sweets and chocolates and retro favourites that are sure to please adults everywhere as well as children. The shop provides for special diets such as gluten free and vegetarian. Parties are also catered for – personalised sweet gifts and party bags for any occasion can be arranged.

Sally’s mobile sweet stall can regularly be found at local events – a calendar can be found here.

To celebrate their third birthday, a party was held this afternoon with Peppa Pig and Poppet from Promise Dreams in attendance. As well as a free gift for the first fifty customers, there was face painting from Fiona’s Faces and the chance to win a marshmallow tree. Here’s to another successful three years for this much loved sweet shop.

The store can be visited Monday – Thursday 10am – 5pm, Friday & Saturday 9:30am – 5:30pm (closed on a Sunday).
