AFC Wulfrunians close their season tomorrow afternoon with the visit of Alvechurch to Castlecroft Stadium. Wulfs sit in seventh place in the Midland Football League Premier Division and a win will see them cement that position to finish a place higher than last season. Only Boldmere St Michaels and Westfields can overtake Wulfs, but Steve Palmer’s side will be looking to finish the season on a high in front of a home crowd after Tuesday’s defeat at Stourport Swifts.
Jake Sedgemore of AFC WulfruniansWulfs have faced Alvechurch twice this season, both home and away with honours even, Wulfs winning 3-2 at home in the FA Cup back in August and Alvechurch ending up 1-0 winners in the league in early December. Kick off tomorrow is 3pm, with adult admission at £5 and concessions £3. Match programmes are available for £1 and there is a bar serving hot and cold drink and snacks within the fully covered 500 seater stand.
