AFC Wulfrunians in season finale clash

AFC Wulfrunians close their season tomorrow afternoon with the visit of Alvechurch to Castlecroft Stadium. Wulfs sit in seventh place in the Midland Football League Premier Division and a win will see them cement that position to finish a place higher than last season. Only Boldmere St Michaels and Westfields can overtake Wulfs, but Steve Palmer’s side will be looking to finish the season on a high in front of a home crowd after Tuesday’s defeat at Stourport Swifts.

Wulfs have faced Alvechurch twice this season, both home and away with honours even, Wulfs winning 3-2 at home in the FA Cup back in August and Alvechurch ending up 1-0 winners in the league in early December. Kick off tomorrow is 3pm, with adult admission at £5 and concessions £3. Match programmes are available for £1 and there is a bar serving hot and cold drink and snacks within the fully covered 500 seater stand.
